When the French tennis player launched his Lacoste t-shirt company - Lacoste started creating one of the most widely known apparel businesses in the world. René Lacoste had created the world's first piece of sport performance clothing.
The business remains in the family, as it has been passed down from the father to his son Bernard in 1963. He then became seriously ill in 2005 and it was then further passed on to Michel Lacoste, who continues to run the business till this day.

- Lacoste buttons are made from "mother of pearl"
- Each logo is sewn on to a male shirt, the female logo is sewn straight into the shirt
- Make sure that the Lacoste Size is a number, not a normal letter
- The crocodile should be in line with the space between the 2nd button and the stitching
- The detail on the crocodile should be amazing, each feature should be clear and easy to make out
